The Zenex Foundation hosted a symposium to discuss learning backlogs in South African schooling on 7 April 2022. The purpose of the symposium was to share ideas, engage in robust debate and generate solutions to the “wicked problem” of learning backlogs. Six research papers on backlogs in mathematics and language/literacy that were commissioned by the Zenex Foundation were presented at the symposium.
Please find a consolidated publication of the papers, titled Perspectives on learning backlogs in South /African schooling.
