Building capacity in education evaluation and research: The Zenex LEAD Programme
Published: 2025
The Zenex Foundation has consistently invested in education evaluation and research to inform its own interventions and strategy, as well as contribute to the education knowledge base. Previous investigations have indicated that, in terms of evaluation, evaluators are concentrated in a small pool of consulting firms, non-profit organisations, academic institutions and government. While many of these institutions have employed mid-level Black evaluators, opportunities to develop these professionals into lead evaluators is limited.
